Waverley councillor Prue Cancian was told not to bring her activist husband Chris Maltby to meetings because the ratepayer-funded catering could not sustain it.
The matter came to a head at last Tuesday night’s council meeting at which Mr Maltby, despite having been asked not to attend by general manager Tony Reed, again showed up. The Daily Telegraph has been told that at the end of the meeting there was no food left for the hungry councillors or their staff ….

Cool. For once the elected members aren't getting fat at the ratepayers expense, rather they're on the other end of the stick. The counsellors feel robbed when they have no food... Now they know what I feel like when I pay rates to the bludgers every year and they do jack for me in return.
We ought to bring back the Aztec idea of human sacrifice and offer a council or labor politician to the Sun God every month.
... then who would we laugh at hey?
We can still have a giggle when we bring them to the Altar to Appease the Spirit of Global Warming :)
then let them feel some global warming as we burn them at the stake.
