Japanese fleeced by sheep in poodles' clothing
Japanese dog-lovers have been fleeced into paying hundreds of dollars for pet poodles, only to discover they have been sold cleverly-trimmed sheep.
The scam came to light when a Japanese actress appeared on TV complaining that her new pet did not bark and refused to eat dog food.
After showing a photograph of her 'poodle' on the talk show, Maiko Kawakami was stunned to be told that the animal was, in fact, a lamb.
